Strip Toaha Qureshi of his MBE
The Issue
Toaha Qureshi a self described Interfaith leader was awarded an MBE in 2009 for "services to Community Relations in Stockwell, South West London." Mr Qureshi is the trustee of Stockwell Mosque and the UK branch of "Aalmi Majlis Tahaffuz KHATM-E-NUBUWWAT", an extremist hate organization which calls for the killing of peaceful Ahmadiyya community not only in Pakistan but also in the UK.
We are requesting The Honours Forfeiture Committee to take away Mr. Toaha Qureshi's MBE award in light of the hateful campaign his organization and Mosque has run against the peaceful Ahmadiyya Muslims, evidence of which is listed below.
Leaflets calling on Muslims to 'Kill Ahmadis' have recently been found in his Stockwell Mosque. In his interview to the BBC he blamed the journalist for supporting Ahmadis and denied that the Ahmadis faced any persecution in Pakistan. The BBC also found documentary evidence of Mr Qureshi's links to the extremist organization. This is not the first time either similar leaflets linked to Mr. Qureshi's Mosque and KhatmeNabuwat organization were also found in 2011 by the BBC. [Video also available]
Mr. Qureshi is a self styled interfaith leader but has for years been running a hate campaign from his Mosque against the peaceful Ahmadiyya community which has been declared non-Muslim and is persecuted in Pakistan. In 2015 he asked the Pakistan government to prosecute the country's former High Commissioner because he called for equals rights for Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan. Same year his Stockwell Mosque held an anti-Ahmadiyya conference.
