Everyone who was involved with the Kamloops Residential School must be investigated and held accountable for the atrocities committed at the institution including the priests, nuns and staff. This investigation must begin immediately and include a thorough investigation of the complicity of the Catholic Church, RCMP and Government Officials. This should be an independent investigation and include first nations investigators and genocide investigators from neutral countries. A full forensic examination of the grave-site must be carried out in order to identify the remains, establish cause of death and ensure these children are returned to their families for a proper burial. The Catholic Church should bear all costs involved with this investigation.
