Lance Neumark was diagnosed in February 2016 with a rare form of cancer called Eosinophilic Leukemia. Lance has also tested positive for the PDGFGRA gene (which is a one in a million chance of having). This is found in his bone marrow.

No cure exists for what he has and the only saving grace is a very expensive medication that has been keeping him stabilized and feeling somewhat better. The drug costs $5000/month and without this medication, Lance does not have a fighting chance.

Lance’s family has recently been advised that their funding for this drug will be cut off and that Lance has also been denied through the government for any subsidy. They are trying to appeal this decision. In the meantime, he needs this medication for everyday life.

This disease has affected Lance’s heart, has caused irreversible heart damage and has also caused a clot to form from which he could suffer a stroke at any time.

Lance's wife and kids are absolutely devastated and the thought of his passing is more than they can bear.  Imagine if your significant other needed medication to live and there was nothing you could do for them! Imagine what the kids are going through right now! Please find it in your heart to sign this petition and get Lance the medication that he needs!
