Petey Piranha Plant should be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate because he is a character I've looked up to since Super Mario Sunshine and is also my best friend. As far as I can remember, after being a boss in Sunshine, he was rarely appeared in other games, most likely due to a lack of interest in him as a character by the masses. But he is very impressive in the games he has appeared in, such as Mario Super Sluggers where he can hit home-runs with his bare leaf-hands. He was also recently announced for Mario Tennis Aces, where he will play tennis without a racket like a champion.

He appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as well. He was the first boss in Subspace Emissary, where he proved to be literally unbeatable, even with the combined forces of Mario and Kirby. Thus forcing them to focus their attacks on the cages in Petey's hands, so as to save one captive princess before he would literally explode from the pure energy of his fighting spirit. He would of course survive the explosion. If Petey was added to Smash Ultimate, I believe a nerf to his power would be understandable.

I think he could work as a character, since they were able to make Ridley work, and I would pay $100 for DLC of just him.

But Sakurai is a very busy man and I don't believe anyone but me cares about Petey, so I would be absolutely ecstatic with his inclusion in any way. Be it assist trophy, boss fight, or even just as a stage hazard.

But not as a regular trophy in the gallery. Literally everything gets one of those.

Sakurai will probably never read this because it's a change dot org petition written in English. Not to imply he can't read English, I have no idea.

Please help add Petey Piranha Plant to Smash in any way. Thank you.
