Mr Hodgman, we are completely disgusted and absolutely blown away by the decision of Magistrate Tamara Jago to sentence Joshua Jeffrey to 49 hours of Community Service (and costs of AU$82.15) for his "callous act" against "vulnerable penguins" when he bludgeoned to death 6 of these tiny defenseless creatures at Sulphur Creek in Tasmania in 2016 while he was DRUNK.

We the undersigned, request that this sentence be urgently reviewed and changed to something that is more appropriate.

We feel that this sentence in no way fits the crime and it will not be seen as a deterrent to other criminals that carry out similar acts of callous cruelty.
