This petition is from Vered Yehuda and the HaMerkaz Shelanu Community Centre and Lamdeni Education Centre

Vered Yehuda, together with the Hamerkaz Shelanu Community Centre and Lamdeni Education Centre seek the Honourable Speaker and the Members of the House of Representatives to intercede in regard to her and her family's migration status. Vered does not have a visa to continue to stay in the Australian Community. She is an integral member and volunteer of the Hamerkaz Shelanu Community Centre and Lamdeni Education Centre and she has a significant religious, cultural and community-based role within the HaMerkaz Shelanu Community Centre and Lamdeni Education Centre.

We, therefore, ask the House to:

Grant Vered and her family a Subclass 457 visa pursuant to section 351 of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) as it is just and reasonable and in the public interest.
