On May 31, 017 Secretary Shulkin presented a 45 minute review of the current areas that he plans to address in VA care and services for Veterans across the United States, He said, "I have no plans to close VA facilities" which is partially true because Secretary McDonald is the one who enacted the planned closure of the VA in Hot Springs, SD earlier this year. He further discussed buildings that are being maintained VA wide that are already closed and how that is contributing to the financial drain on the VA system. Please take the time to email and write to Secretary Shulkin about keeping the VA in Hot Springs, SD open and providing medical care to the much needed Veterans your area.
