Respected Sir,

The All India Yadav Mahasabha , being the united platform for the Yadav community spread across all over the India & abroad, has launched a signature campaign of writing 20 lacs postcards from our community members to you in order to highlight the long standing demand of the Yadav community for an Ahir or Ahirwal Regiment in the Indian Army Please see attached the copy of the postcards being sent to your office. I Ved Yadav (President ,UK YADAV MAHASABHA ) along with all the members of our community in INDIA, UK, USA & all over the world,support this demand & start this petition to draw your attention to this matter, hoping for a quick decision. If the caste base Regiments are no longer possible in Indian Army in then this can be as region based Ahirwal Regiment. 

The valour and exemplary courage of the Ahir soldiers in our defense forces are well documented in the war annals whether it is during Indo-China war or Kargil or the outstanding heroism in face of the attack on Indian Parliament in 2001.

We hope that this demand of 16% rock-strong population of Yadavs of this great country is heeded by your inclusive democratic government.
