To The Hon'ble Chairperson National Human Rights Commission India

Dear Sir,

Most humbly this is to bring to your kind notice that today we have gone through a classic piece of legislation from Philippines namely "National Human Rights Consciousness Week Act, 2002" to promote human rights culture in their country at all government premises and all educational institutes during the human rights week as mandated by that Act.

We specially draw the attention of your commission to the mandate of sec.3 and 4 of the aforesaid Act and want to have same type of legislative mandate in our country which will further human rights culture in our country. A copy of the Act is enclosed herewith in the attached file for the kind perusal by your commission.  
So, most humbly we are praying before your commission to recommend the Government of India immediately to legislate to observe Human Rights Consciousness Week from 4th December to 10th every year to promote and spread Human Rights culture at all level in the country.

SUCCESS STORY

Till date MANAB has ensured the payment of Rs.24,75,000/ as well as
the recommendation of Rs.13,50,000/ to the victims of Human  Rights
Violation apart from initiation of necessary legal actions against the
public officials who were found guilty of violating Human Rights.
