I am a British citizen who has been married to an American citizen for almost 12 years. We have 3 children together. Today we received news that our case for discretionary leave to remain was denied. Our solicitor has said that it clearly looks as though someone with little experience has reviewed our case and has not looked at vital evidence. Our eldest son is under the care of the children and adolescent mental health team. It is vital for him to have his dad here, this decision could send him over the edge. I will also need to give up work to be able to do the school runs and school holidays as he is the person who currently does this. The decision did not even state a reason for the denial, it simply said that if we want to sustain a relationship then me and the children should move to America or maintain a relationship over things such as skype! Who has the right to take my children's daddy away from them. To take my little girl's cuddles away that she has every day with her daddy, to take away her right to be able to hold her daddy's hand like all little girls love to do. Please help us by signing this petition. Your signature could help us get our case looked at again and the decision over turned. We have 9 days to appeal the decision but that will be at the cost of a further £4000.
We have had a lot of people advise us on starting a funding page. I didnt want to do it as i know how everyone is experiencing financial difficulties at the moment, but i have now realised that it is better for it to be on here than not at all. so here is the link. Thank you so much for every signature and every donation. We are truelt grateful. https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/della-brown?utm_campaign=projectpage-share-owner&utm_content=della-brown&utm_medium=Yimbyprojectpage&utm_source=Facebook&utm_term=ppwkAjZWR
