The Home Depot employees have been deemed as essential during the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. Employees with compromised immune systems, children, elderly and sick relatives have been forced to work for wages while being subjected to potentially infected customers. 

These customers are not shopping for essentials.  Non-essential items sales are at an all time high at Home Depot.  Potentially infected customers are buying more paint and flooring items are not shopping for essentials and should be at home protecting the general population.  

Home Depot should follow other "essential" employers such as, Walmart, Target, Kroger and Vons and give their employees hazard pay of at least $2 per hour. The average Home Depot employee earns $12.41/hour in the U.S. These minimum wage workers are keeping the country running in this crisis and deserve better pay.
