The licorice cigars of our youth have been discontinued by Hershey.

Old-fashioned Y&S Cigars. Rich in licorice flavor, dry texture, these candy cigars with a sprinkling of red sugar at the tip will bring back fond memories from your youth. (24 cigars in a box)

There is nothing comparable to these cigars, the texture and flavour were unique.

No explanation can be found as to why this popular product has been discontinued. Even Costco has stopped selling them.

This product is especially popular with old fogies like myself (72) who have been consuming them since childhood.

Hershey, if you have to discontinue them at least wait another decade or so until your most ardent customers have passed on or are too senile to remember what they are missing ;-)

Why do all the good old products have to disappear?
