Officially it’s 20 years ago today that Disney acquired the Muppets from the Jim Henson company. I have no idea how Disney got so much money if there was like a successful box office Disney movie perhaps like the movie Finding Nemo, I don’t know? Finding Nemo could’ve been how Disney was able to get so much profits to buy the Muppets. Animal is still one of the main characters in the franchise, but he doesn’t really interact with Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie or Gonzo very much. A character could’ve been Scooter. I really hope I could try to figure out a way how we can all work to make Disney sell the Muppets back to Henson. I unfortunately don’t know? Possibly someday The Muppets Studio Company could go out of business and get refunds if something bad happens. I always consider Kermit more of a Henson and Sesame Street character than a Disney character. And I don’t think that Disney’s Muppets did a Birthday tribute to Jim Henson back in September.
