It was fucking 17 years ago today when The Walt Disney Company and The Jim Henson Company made an announcement that Disney would acquire The Muppets franchise from The Henson Company. It included The Muppet Show and six Muppet films and including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and Animal characters and turned them into trademarks ™️ and copyrights © of Disney, AKA The Muppets Studio, formerly known as The Muppets Holding Company. That’s because I believe Michael Eisner had been obsessed with wanting The Muppets in the Disney Company and spend time with them. And soon afterwards he had left Disney. Disney still can’t figure out smart and new ideas with The Muppets, and how they are now going downhill. Since The ABC Show The Muppets turned out to be terrible, All what The Muppets can think of basically is Social Media. And The Disney Company and new performers haven’t learned any information from The Henson Company and the original performers such as Jim Henson and Frank Oz. And nobody can be in a position to put Jim Henson and Frank Oz’s influences and personalities underneath the characters and The Muppets. And it’s still unbelievable that Dave Goelz is still involved with The Muppets. But maybe not as much as he was anymore. So The Muppets had been paid with selfishness and neglect for 17 years. It’s time to tackle Mickey Mouse and tie him by his tail and restrain him and put him and his pants on a hook on the wall. Until Mickey Mouse’s punishments are over.
