I realize about 2001 or 2002. The Jim Henson Company and Sesame Street Muppets were sold to a Media Company in Germany. Then the Media Company in Germany sold the Sesame Street Muppets to Sesame Workshop. I don’t think that was something Jim Henson ever discussed. I don’t think he ever thought of that and never wanted to do. So maybe the Sesame Street Muppets should also be trademarks ™️ and a copyright © of The Jim Henson Company again. I thought it was ridiculous when The Henson Company and Sesame Street characters were sold to a German company. and eventually the German company sold The Henson Company except Sesame Street Muppets to the children of Jim Henson in 2003.
