Im starting this petition to prove that my brother charlie mullinax is not a danger to the public. Hes always struggled with addiction, due to his troubling past, he seems to be around the wrong people at the wrong time and tends to get into trouble. He is currently incarcerated and being held without bond, he got charged with some drugs and drug paraphernalia found in the homeowners bedroom after he was already booked into the detention center, my brother is no drug dealer, he has a severe drug dependecy and has always hung around the wrong crowd of people. We are almost 100% sure these charges will not stick in court due to the drugs and stuff being found in the homeowners bedroom after he had been booked in the county jail, and the conflict of interest that the homeowner who was supposed to be my brothers girlfriend, has and is in a sexual relationship with the detective who arrested my brother , and supposedly no one claimed the drugs but the only person charged was my brother. Im planning on having a bond hearing to request they give him some type of bond , that he is not a danger and with the right therapeutic , drug rehab will better his life. Our mother recently died and hes the only family me and his niece have right now.
