Important update.

Well done to everyone who has invested their time and effort into helping us reach 1000 signatures!

That is an awe inspiring number, but we need to keep going. We need to prove, beyond all reasonable doubt that the governors of SGS did not inform parents and the wider community of what was happening.

We have made calls to the local parish's many of which had no idea this was happening.

Yesterday was an important stepping stone in our campaign, because we reached 1000 signatures we sent those, with a covering letter to the following people.

The Secretary of State Graham Williamson

The Regional Schools Commissioner complaints

The Regional Schools Commissioner Claire Burton

The governors-clerk at SGS

The Co-Headteachers Noel Kennedy and Nat Nicol

As many teachers that we could find email addresses for.

West Sussex County Council

Andrew Griffith MP

The Alumni

As well as the press.

We cannot stop there though and need to keep pushing forward. There is a rumour that WSCC are now fighting this and have had meetings with local MP's, but we need to give them as much leverage as possible.

If each of us all get one person to add there signature, we can double our result to over 2000 people.

We all know one more concerned parent, friend, or family member to get that final talley up.

We have 7 more days before SGS is lost for 125 years to business and education will be privatised for ever.

Attached is our covering letter which makes a pretty damning case, I hope you will read it.

Thank you for all your efforts,

Take care

Adrian
