Change LGBT laws on adoption
Me and my partner wanted to adopt. We started the process in Texas, but didn't get to finish due to my partners military orders to Virginia. Once we arrived here, we learned that gays may not adopt one of the thousands of children, getting lost in the system. I want to change that. Everyone should have the right/chance to be parents regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. Help us fulfill our dream by signing below. Let's show everyone that we will be heard, and we will have rights. Let's show them that it's not just the LGBT community that is demanding equality, it's the friends and families, and their friends, and their friends. Help spread the word, and not just help us, but to help hundreds of other LGBT couples start their families, and bring another child home out of foster care!

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Governor of Virginia..
Change LGBT laws on adoption.
Virginia laws on LGBT adoption are unfair, and unconstitutional. We all have the right to pursue happiness, no where does it state "unless you are of the LGBT orientation." Everyone should have the right to be parents, and every child deserves the right to an equal chance. By refusing to allow LGBT families to adopt, you are not just taking the chance away from us, you are taking from the children in foster care too. Please repeal the law restricting happiness from both parties!
