Banning the carriages is not the answer! Hundreds of horses will instead go directly to the foreign meat market! Being alive in NYC is not as bad as that and we think the horse would agree if he/she could. Do not let the ban go through - instead improve the nasty stable conditions, get better medical care, more humane working hours, etc. Yes they die every so often on the job but so do humans. Let them live and not become meat in South America. Regulate do not eliminate! Thank you
