Do not auction Kong, let K9 Kong's original family adopt him.

"When state government has, say, old office furniture that is no longer useful, the procurement code mandates a committee approve and oversee what happens to it. The committee must send a letter to the state Auditor’s Office describing the property and what it wants to do with it, then wait 30 days, then sell it to another governmental entity or the public via auction or sealed bid, donate it to a nonprofit or have it destroyed. Fine for a battered desk. For a living, breathing being, not even close."

These Dogs have served this country. They are not without feelings, they are loyal creatures who deserve the chance to have a loving family! Kong has a loving family who wants to adopt him and the New Mexico Corrections Department has chosen instead to auction him off to the highest bidder. Please help Kong with your voice, since he cannot help himself!

They are holding the auction through 5:00pm, Monday, April 16, 2012! So we have to act fast!
