People are abusing the law and killing others pets just because they are on their property and the law doesn't stop them. On Christmas Day in Hancock County, Ky, a family recieved a call that their dog was dead in a field. They then found out that both of their dogs had been shot and killed because they were on a neighbors property. One dog was a year old Great Pyrenees and the other was a 4 month old German Shepard. This needs to end. The neighbor said that the dogs were chasing his chickens but it didn't have to result in the two dogs being shot and killed. It could have been handled by a sit down between the two neighbors instead of the family getting a call on Christmas that their dogs were dead.
