Halal slaughter is carried out due to religious beliefs,it doesn't in any way take in to consideration the animal.If we are slaughtering the animals for food in the first place then it should be done quickly and humanely so the animal doesn't suffer.Just because the animal is going to die doesn't mean we should bleed them and let them suffer unnecessarily.Religious beliefs wherever they come from just don't cut it.All animals should have a dignified,quick and painless death.This is a modern country let's have a modern way not some centuries old barbaric act just because someone said so.This has to stop it's cruel it's outdated and it's totally unnecessary,we can still get meat from animals and animals who don't need to needlessly suffer,we wouldn't allow a animal owner to mistreat a pet so why is it acceptable to do the same for food!!
