I want to legalize pit bulls and other banned breeds in the uk. It’s to my understanding that pit bulls are banned due to a lock jaw which is discriminating towards the breed which is disgusting. These are animals that have an amazing temperament and are used by use to be aggressive and for dog fighting! Over the years people have bred and used these animals in the most disgusting way due to them having certain features that can be intimidating in dog fighting. Pit bulls are not evil, they are not born evil and they are more trusted than a lot of people!!! Everyone has a bad view on pit bulls because of what the media exploit and with the law banning them ruins any chance at them ever being given equal rights to any other dog!!! Pit bulls are not aggressive, they are dogs same as any family dog you can have, it’s beyond that we can fight racism and homophobia but discriminating dog breeds is still a thing. We’ve come a long way but to punish a breed and be illegal because of the jaw and the way that people have bred them and forced to fight. I feel passionate about this and I hope to fight the stigma around pit bull and bully breeds. If you are an animal lover or activist them please do your best to give light to such an amazing breed.
