The only way we are going to be able to do anything to help this poor suffering creature and others like him in the face of official indifference and institutional cruelty is to GET THE WORD OUT. Appeals to justice, reason and common humanity have received zero response. The Thai government obviously thinks that if they ignore us we will simply get tired and go away. And they can just continue to inflict pain and suffering on helpless animals like Gluay Hom and get away with it as they always have. We must continue to spread the word about how important it is to boycott any "attraction" where captive animals are forced to perform tricks for tourists. Let's not forget what started all of this. One of the worst images of animal abuse any of us have ever seen.
