Declare Climate Emergency in Nepal.

Declare Climate Emergency in Nepal.
The Issue
From the massive landslide in the hills of Nepal to vigorous flood in Terai. From wildfires to desertification & Stroms to glacier melt, the results of inaction on climate change are visible every day in Nepal. It's a disaster and a grave threat to today's generation & the future of our country and planet. It’s time for bold action.
One vital step? The Government of Nepal should declare climate emergency in Nepal.
That declaration will elevate climate change as a national security priority and allow Nepal to devote more resources to invest in clean energy, Preserve our biodiversity, hold polluters accountable, and ensure climate justice for frontline communities.
Each day they refuse to act is another day the problem becomes harder to fix. Sign this petition to force politicians, businesses, financiers and the media to recognise the climate crisis for what it is: an existential threat to humanity that needs vital & ambitious action.
