Discrimination on the basis of sex or sexual orientation should not be rewarded with tourist dollars. Jamaica currently has laws which punish gay men with a prison term of up to 10 years at hard labor. This should be considered unacceptable in any country seeking tourism from North America or anywhere else. Until these laws are changed, A Voice for Men urges you to book your vacation at any other Caribbean destination as an alternative to Jamaica.
