Rights to the Six Nations are about to be acquired by Sky. Meaning that they will no longer be on free-to-air television.

The government has the ability to move the tournament to a catergory A event in the sporting Crown jewels meaning it has to stay on free-to-air television. 

The six nations is currently catergory B.

It's imperative for the health of rugby that the game stays free to air.
