More attention for Special Needs or for children, young Adults and Older Adults with disabilities.I live in Houston , Texas , I am the parent of a Special Needs Adult , she has been diagnosed with Rett’s Syndrome. I’ve lived here in Houston now for 4 years and have not seen or been able to find a day care for a depended person in Houston . My Adult child can’t do a lot of things for herself, so because of this she’s at home every day without any socializing or enter acting with others that she can inter act or have something in common with . So I would like to be more of an Activist for this problem. People with Special  Needs should not be alienate from normal population, they have the right to be as active as any one else in this State . Having health care in homes keeps our Special Needs deprived of enter acting with other that need to be educated or at least become aware of such Needs , not just for the disabled but for themselves. I don’t understand why young children when they see disable people still stair at or even cry or become frightened when they see or hear a disabled person . Help me to understand this . Difference is growing , it’s learning differences and to be open to it , not to hide it . So as a Parent  of an Special Needs Human being I would like to change this and in away to change this is to make people more aware that  there’s work to be done here in Texas for our Special Needs Persons.
