Nowadays, rather than going straight to school, students (specially in the High School level) go the extra mile and go to the computer shops near the vicinity of their respective school. Instead of spending their pocket money for food at school, they waste it on pointless things inside the computer shops, like online games, and betting games among their friends.

We, Students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, under the Academic Program of Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, apart of our Advocacy Plan "Cyberspace Gate", where we want to "Reset our Youth" in regards to the concepts of Technology.

Technology, specially the likes of Computer and the Internet, should be used in good things, like research, school activities, communication, and such, it should not be used for things like bets and own amusement (i.e Porn)

Our group, calls to the attention of everyone, School Teachers, School Principals, Professors, Students, The Government, and the Computer Shop owners, to finally put a stop of making technology against our lives, our Education, our well-being.

We moved that Computer Shops should have Curfew hours for students, specially during the time of 7am-5pm, the time that our school usually run for a day.

Schools should have also, strict rules on this matter, as students cut their classes at times, just to go to computer shops near their schools.

Education and Technology, should be as one, not against together.

Let us open our minds and hearts to what is really happening.

If this keeps up? What will happen to our Youth? Be only dependent on the technology we have right now? Of course, No, that's not what we want.

We want them to realize that they should not rely always on these tech stuff, they should learn from it and use it for the better, not for the worse.
