We can do it guys!

With every person you educate on the term "black", we get closer to our goal! I do not measure victory by the number of signatures this petition gets, but rather the number of people who see the importance of correct and respectful representation. I had someone drop me off at home and we saw a Jamaican church. She then said oh look a "black" church. She wasn't being disrespectful, she was just pointing out what she knew. I then took it upon myself to educate her that "black"is a slang for people and not an actual term for a race, and she didn't know!

Sometimes, it's just ignorance that plagues a person. Please take the time out to continue to educate our brothers and sisters OF ALL RACES on what the adequate term is. Word of mouth travels everywhere. I am not "black", don't call me "black". I am African.
