The reservation system in the country has been it's companion since the birth of the independent India. This obstinate and unconstitutional remedy has been a deterrent factor in terms of the growth of the country by not providing jobs and education on the basis of merit. The remedy was comprehended into the supreme document at a time where it was absolutely necessary. The lower castes, as they say in India, were subjects of inhuman treatment and subjugated to brutal atrocities. The persecution of this faction of the society by the self proclaimed superior castes laid the foundation of  the caste system. But, times have changed. The scenario in today's modern day age is totally different where all the castes are an important and comprehensive part of the society. Therefore, the changed circumstances call for a changed outlook on the subject. When we breathe the same air, eat the same food, drink the same water, read the same books, wear the same clothes, why this partisanship on the basis if caste? Every one today has the resources to be competent and self sufficient. How can someone who gets an AIR 1 be on the same level with someone who gets an AIR 1000? The Holocaust even today remains the most horrifying act of brutality on mankind. The genocide of over 6 million Jews from 1939-45 naturally calls for RESERVATION. Slavery, the most nefarious and iniquitous ideology of mankind, calls for RESERVATION. But neither do USA or Germany have reservations for these factions. It is termed as constitutionally illegal in these countries. This preferential treatment has to stop. This violation of natural justice and fundamental rights will eventually break the backbone of the country. Politicians, stop using this as a vote bank to remain or come in power. Let's make a change!
