As the 2015 Jumps Racing season has ended the Animal Justice Party thanks you for supporting a ban on jumps racing. We remember the 5 horses killed this year:
RIP Verification, Feel the Fame, Try Pickle, Trenchtown and Rabbuka.
We are hoping the South Australian parliament select committee, established 4 days ago, will find the evidence of cruelty overwhelming and do the right thing.
With the SA Liberal racing spokesman Tim Whetstone and Victoria's Labor racing minister Martin Pakula stating their support for jumps racing it is evident we need to keep the pressure on to get jumps racing banned.
This petition will therefore continue for another year so please continue to educate people about the cruelty, the injuries and the deaths that jumps racing is responsible for. Don't forget to mention the fact that jumps racing loses money and most horse racing enthusiasts (as well as the general public) want jumps racing banned as it gives horse racing a bad reputation.
Your support is important and gratefully received.
