Since being found in the mountains as an injured cub Baloo has spent his whole life in a cage. For 14 years businessman Emil Părău has kept Baloo at the Straja ski resort in Hunedoara, Romania, as a mascot to attract customers to his business. He refuses to give him up under any circumstances even though it is illegal to keep wild animals in Romania. We ask the authorities to confiscate Baloo and transfer him to Libearty Bear Sanctuary, Zarnesti. No bear should have to live their lives in a cage.
