The Game Awards, please include Arslan Ash as one of the nominees for best eSports player!

The Issue

Arslan Ash is a competitive Tekken player from Pakistan. Players from this country find it hard to travel to big events worldwide due to how difficult it is for them to get a visa, but nonetheless, he managed to do it and travel to EVO Japan early in the year, where he was the champion at Tekken 7!

He managed to accomplish this feat once again at EVO 2019 in Las Vegas on August, becoming one of the very few players to ever win both regular EVO and EVO Japan! After that people in the community started paying attention to Pakistan, a country that prior to that wasn't considered important in the eSports or FGC scenes, and many more opportunities appeared for the players of said country to show their talent. Because of that, this will be the first year that Pakistan have qualified players on the Tekken World Tour Finals, with both Arslan Ash and Awais Honey representing the country.

In less than an year, Pakistan went from an unknown territory to be considered the best country for Tekken in the world. All of that was possible thanks to the amazing performance of Arslan Ash! Due to the importance of his accomplishments, we believe it is incredibly unfair that he is not part of The Game Awards nominations for best eSports player of the year, and we would like his name to be included!
