Remove Cruel Foie Gras From Your Menu

Every year in France, 30 million ducks and geese are forced into small cages, a metal tube is thrust down their throats and vast quantities of food are forcibly pumped into their stomachs so that their livers swell painfully to up to 10 times their natural size.

Whether or not these birds come from a family farm, or an industrial farm, they still suffer. 

The UK has banned this practice in the UK, however restaurants are still allowed to import and sell it. 

We believe the pain and suffering caused by foie-gras production has no place in a civilised society. We therefore urge The Frogmill Inn to discontinue selling this product with immediate effect.
