We receive e-mails every day through our website from victims' families about how they lost their loved ones to Hit and Run. It is heartbreaking. We try and post news about each new Hit and Run tragedy on our website but they are daily - we cannot even keep up. There are too many to post. We started this initiative to change the law in Florida in response to the death of our friend, Aaron, in Miami. As time goes on it becomes more clear; this is an epidemic in every corner of our state and few lives remain untouched by the cowardice of drivers who leave another human being to die. What will persuade drivers to do the right thing, take responsibility, call 911, and save a life? The Aaron Cohen Law will take away the incentive to leave the scene of a crash.
