These stores support Puppy Mills; therefore, supporting the mistreatment of innocent animals. Some of them claim they no longer allow puppy mill dogs to be sold in their stores; however, we all know they continue to do so (just using a smoke screen of some sort). There are not enough homes for all of the dogs currently in Southwest Florida Animal Shelters (let alone the rest of the world). It's all about supply and demand. By purchasing a dog from these type of stores you are NOT rescuing a dog, but you ARE supporting puppy mills and allowing the cage to be filled by the next puppy in line.
