Installed around 20 years ago, the existing Faversham Rec skatepark is greatly in need of a refurbishment. In its current state it is barely useable as a skatepark with unsafe, inchohesive obstacles combined with a harsh and unforgiving surface, and as such the park is barely used for its intended purpose. Faversham deserves a safe, usable skatepark that everyone can skate, ride and foster a positive local community around.
