Release Michael Jackson: Live in Brunei 96' Blu-Ray

These concerts were a celebration of Michael Jackson's career. They were planned by the Prince of Brunei to celebrate the sultan's 50th Birthday Celebration. In anticipation of these concerts, the stadium in which these shows were performed at were built specifically for these events. No one had ever performed such a large Stage production prior to this in Brunei.

Gavin Taylor, renowned British director was asked to film both shows that occured on the dates of July 16th & December 31st 1996. Gavin is known to have been the director for several major musical acts including U2, Queen, Whitney Houston & David Bowie. In 1992, Gavin directed & filmed Bob Dylan's 30th anniversary celebration concert at New York's Madison Square Garden. This show was filmed with an NHK Muse Analog HD format, dating back to 1979. Better known as HDVS, these camera's were capable of an 1125 scan line resolution. The 5:3 (1.66:1) aspect ratio giving the viewer a more polished, cinematic experience. In 2009, Gavin invited the Journal UK to view a 3 minute preview of the New Years Eve celebration concert from the HIStory world tour in his private screening room. Also recorded on Multitracks, these shows can be authored on Blu-Ray with a stunning 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. I ask that you, The Estate of Michael Jackson & Sony Music, Release both of these shows from the Analog High Def Recording's, on Blu-Ray/DVD & Live CD incl. rehearsal footage as bonus features. for the world to finally enjoy.
