Envato Company to remove the sanctions on Iran

This petition had 241 supporters

The year 2015 did not end with good news for Iranian web developer.  In recent months the news of sanctioning the user accounts of web developer, web graphics, and other web activists related to Envato Company was released. Immediately the user accounts of Iranian in the stores like Graphicriver, Themeforest, and Codecanyon and their subgroups were locked. Even the accounts that did not sell any item in Iran and Iranians bought the legal license of these online companies only to respect the Copyright law, were closed too. In recent years Iranian web developer tried to highly respect the right of creators. This act became the reason to increase using Envato and similar software and this happened in the situations that because of sanctions on banks of Iran the possibility of using a Visa or Master card or a PayPal account was not possible and users had to pay through their friends or relatives in other countries and most times an extra fee for transferring the money added up to expenses of the license.

At the time that many limitations were applied to web developer by Iranian government, the main reason for purchasing Envato was to have a legitimate buying so to support the web developer and to respect their rights. This decision became a usual manner even though the free copies of the software were illegally available for download all over the internet. This is not the first time that such limitations are applied for web developer by Iranian government and other countries. The user accounts of Envato are among the least significant or dangerous accounts that program design activities in any country can use.

Envato Company declared they have applied these limitations followed by the US sanctions on Iran but we expect as a result of the agreements followed by 5+1 negotiations with Iran that these boundaries be removed or new solutions will be found to allow Iran to use the software.

This campaign has been established to get the support of web developer, those who respect Copyright, and the publisher rights around the world to help us to seek a revision from Envato Company to remove the sanctions on Iran and let us use the subcategory stores as well. With any language or culture that you have from any location around the globe please do not hesitate to share with us your views and comments.
