The Pro Elephant Network announced that they have delivered the Reports of the assessments of Charlie to Minister Creecy. 

The EMS Foundation and Members of PREN have been in discussion with Minister Creecy since the 16th of December 2020 negotiating the very best retirement options for Charlie. 

The EMS Foundation recommends that Charlie’s expert psychological and medical rehabilitation, his relocation to, and his reintegration into a protected natural environment should arrive at no cost to SANBI, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries or the Environment or the South African tax payer. 

Eight world renown elephant experts have assessed Charlie and provided comprehensive reports and clear recommendations.
