THE EMS FOUNDATION PUBLIC STATEMENT OF CONCERN 

Collectively, we have diligently, persistently and explicitly presented valid requests to have Charlie independently assessed by internationally renowned zoo and captive elephant experts, for more than sixteen months. 
to date we have been unable to achieve a desirable result for Charlie through our engagements with SANBI and NZG and as a result we have taken the unprecedented decision in his best interest to make public the details of the unsatisfactory engagement process.
