Thank you all for getting us this far and we are making great progress. The Bill has been drafted with thanks support from a leading law firm in Kenya who have taken this under their wings and now it is being circulated to policy makers for their suggestions. We need to keep the momentum going. With UNEA 5 around the corner and a strong bid for a global plastic treaty, this is our moment as the East African Community to push for a regional consensus on the banning of unnecessary single use plastics in the EAC.
