A bomb may destroy a building, but its impact can reach forests, rivers, oceans, soil, wildlife, homes, families, and future generations. Smoke rises into the atmosphere. Habitats disappear. Water and soil can become contaminated. Animals lose their homes. People lose their loved ones. Children lose the sense of safety that every child deserves.
War does not destroy only what humans have built.
It can destroy what nature has taken thousands or millions of years to create.
