In a country where 55.5% of the population is living in poverty, the cost of living is simply too high. People are having to afford petrol, food, transport, fees and many other basic needs. There is no reason why we should allow scrapyards to promote the further chipping down of our economy by the illegal sale of copper pipes and cables stolen from state entities and our homes. South Africans need to stand up and so NO! to the operation of scrapyards in our country.
