The reason the arrest warrant was issued was because Valerie fled California to protect her then 3 year old daughter Makenzie from alleged molestation from the father- and in doing so broke a court order. To protect her daughter she had no other option but to run. Many states New Mexico eg. has a two year Statute of Limitations on parental abduction - in California there is no limit. The daughter Makenzie is 27 years old now - an adult and free from any more harm from the father. Valerie as a mother, did her job! Let her go and have a normal life again, free from continually looking over her shoulder dreading the sight of the authorities and the FBI closing in on her. She has been convicted of nothing! - drop the arrest warrant and let her and Makenzie join their family again. 24 years running from the FBI is long enough...
