The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is currently consulting on the permanent closure of the Armagh Minor Injuries Unit.

 The closure of the Minor injuries unit would leave The city and district of Armagh with no access to urgent medical treatment aside from the GP service. This would have a detrimental effect on local health care and place additional strain on the already stretched health services of neighbouring districts
