Bullying in schools is out of control. As parents we want our children to learn in a safe environment. The people who control these environments are either not able and/or not willing to make a stand against bullying. Attention needs to be drawn to this major problem within the school system so that change can happen. Too many children are not going to school, many on a part time timetable for their own safety or simply drop out of school. There is no excuse for bullying at all. Schools need to run intensive anti bullying programs which at present is not happening. We need to get ALL parties including government to make changes to legislation that makes bullying of any kind in schools a criminal offence. We have had enough of running around in circles and being ignored by all parties involved - the schools, the Department of Education. The mental impact of emotional and/or physical bullying is devastating. Please join our group if you feel that we may be if some help to you.
