DNC: Restore access to voter data for the Sanders campaign, or we won't vote in 2016

The Issue

The Democratic National Committee has chosen to bar the Sanders campaign from crucial voter data as a response to the campaign discovering (and promptly reporting) a security flaw in the campaign software run by a DNC vendor. Combined with the decision to schedule a crucial debate on a holiday weekend, it has become clear that the DNC is interested in doing all it can to sabotage both the Sanders and O'Malley campaigns. These moves are both shameful and undemocratic.

We, the undersigned loyal Democrats, pledge to abstain from voting in the 2016 presidential election unless the DNC stops their transparent efforts to undermine the primary campaigns of Senator Sanders and Governor O'Malley. We demand that the DNC:

  1. Promptly restore access to the NGP VAN voter data system for the Sanders campaign.
  2. Schedule future candidate debates on nights when they are likely to be viewed by as many potential Democratic voters as possible.
