Unfortunately the meetings didn't bring any good news, despite seeming to have a lot of support from some Councillors.

I'm not sure how WDC can pick and choose what agreements and processes are important and which can be overlooked (like providing 3 of 10 courts for example.) I now have compensation for 2018 to 2020 but nothing has been offered for 2021 and 2022 when the club had to limit membership, group sizes and lost court space for the 7 junior teams and pay and play.

A few members have offered to help with the tender so I will be entering but the main issue is now the fact that we still don't have a detailed resurfacing plan.

I will be taking time off from the coaching as it's become too difficult to organise on limited courts and this is not what I signed up for. I am also waiting to hear about the compensation for 2021 and 2022.

Instead VP will be a pay and play venue and everyone can book 7 days ahead. There will be a court inspection on 19th August so please check out https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/VPTennis/BookaCourt

Membership and coaching will not be available until the tender and the court resurface is resolved. Floodlights will also be limited as I won't be there as often. (I have asked for 10 years for WDC to change the access to the floodlight boxes for members and non members but this hasn't happened unfortunately.)
